The 6kg Thick Pour kit is the working size of our deep casting resin, holding 4kg of resin and 2kg of hardener at a 2:1 mix by weight. It is the size most makers settle on: enough for a run of deep moulds or a modest table pour, without the outlay of the 30kg kit.

Working notes from the maker
- Mix by weight only. Measuring by volume gives a piece that never reaches its expected hardness
- Keep the room at 25 to 28 °C; resin behaves differently outside that range
- Use with resin pigments, mica powder and alcohol inks
- Leave sanding until a week after the pour, once the internal cure is complete

Common questions
What is the difference between Thick Pour and Art Resin?
Depth. Thick Pour is formulated for deep single pours; Ultra Clear Art Resin is for thin surface layers such as coasters, trays and clock faces. Using the wrong one at depth is the most common cause of a cracked piece.
How deep can I pour in one go?
Follow your mould guidance and keep the room at 25 to 28 °C. The 45 minute pot life gives time to mix and place before it starts to set.
Why must it be mixed by weight?
Because the 2:1 ratio is by weight, not volume. Measuring by volume leaves the piece softer than it should be and it never fully hardens.

What does delivery cost and how fast is it?
Delivery is free on orders of AED 300 and above. Orders above AED 100 and below AED 300 ship at AED 12, and orders of AED 100 or less at AED 20. Order before 1:00 PM UAE time for next-day delivery anywhere in the UAE, Dubai and all other Emirates alike. We deliver within the UAE only.
Can I collect from the store?
Yes. Pickup is free from Sheikha Noora Tower, 1st Floor, 109, Barsha Heights, Dubai, open Monday to Sunday, 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM.
How can I pay?
Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash on delivery. All prices include 5% VAT.
What is the returns policy?
Items damaged in transit or with a manufacturing defect can be returned within 7 days of delivery, unused and in original condition. The full policy is on our refund policy page.
