What it is not for
Mont Marte lists this canvas as suitable for their acrylic and oil paints, and not suitable for poster paint, gouache or watercolour. Those three need an absorbent surface, and a primed canvas is the opposite of that.
Pairs well with
Mont Marte white gesso, artist grade acrylics and oils, modelling paste for texture, and Pebeo picture varnish to finish the piece.
Common questions
Should I choose this or the Studio 20 x 24in?
Premium at 38mm takes heavier paint and light collage; Studio at 36mm suits lighter applications. Both hang without framing.
Can I pour resin over a finished painting?
Yes, once the paint is fully dry. Tape the underside edge or use latex liquid so drips peel away instead of setting on the frame.
Is it primed already?
Yes, triple coated with universal primer. A coat of gesso on top gives a smoother surface if you want one.
Where can I buy large canvases in the UAE?
Order online before 1 PM for next-day delivery anywhere in the UAE, or collect free from our Barsha Heights store in Dubai.

What does delivery cost and how fast is it?
Delivery is free on orders of AED 300 and above. Orders above AED 100 and below AED 300 ship at AED 12, and orders of AED 100 or less at AED 20. Order before 1:00 PM UAE time for next-day delivery anywhere in the UAE, Dubai and all other Emirates alike. We deliver within the UAE only.
Can I collect from the store?
Yes. Pickup is free from Sheikha Noora Tower, 1st Floor, 109, Barsha Heights, Dubai, open Monday to Sunday, 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM.
How can I pay?
Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash on delivery. All prices include 5% VAT.
What is the returns policy?
Items damaged in transit or with a manufacturing defect can be returned within 7 days of delivery, unused and in original condition. The full policy is on our refund policy page.
