The Premium range carries a 38mm deep frame, two millimetres deeper than the Studio range and rated for moderate paint application rather than light. That is the practical difference: Premium takes impasto work and light collage where Studio is built for thinner layers.

What it is not for
Mont Marte lists this canvas as suitable for their acrylic and oil paints, and not suitable for poster paint, gouache or watercolour. Those three need an absorbent surface, and a primed canvas is the opposite of that.
Pairs well with
Mont Marte white gesso for an extra primed coat, Pebeo and Mont Marte acrylics and oils, modelling paste for texture, and picture varnish to finish.

What is the difference between Premium and Studio?
Frame depth and paint load. Premium is 38mm and rated for moderate application and light collage; Studio is 36mm and built for lighter layers.
Does it need framing?
No. The deep frame with a clean edge is designed to hang as it is.
Can I use watercolour on it?
No. Mont Marte lists poster paint, gouache and watercolour as unsuitable, because a primed canvas is not absorbent.

What does delivery cost and how fast is it?
Delivery is free on orders of AED 300 and above. Orders above AED 100 and below AED 300 ship at AED 12, and orders of AED 100 or less at AED 20. Order before 1:00 PM UAE time for next-day delivery anywhere in the UAE, Dubai and all other Emirates alike. We deliver within the UAE only.
Can I collect from the store?
Yes. Pickup is free from Sheikha Noora Tower, 1st Floor, 109, Barsha Heights, Dubai, open Monday to Sunday, 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM.
How can I pay?
Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash on delivery. All prices include 5% VAT.
What is the returns policy?
Items damaged in transit or with a manufacturing defect can be returned within 7 days of delivery, unused and in original condition. The full policy is on our refund policy page.
